AAC stands for augmentative and alternative communication, and is used by individuals who are nonverbal or have difficulty communicating.                 WVU Medicine Children's and IMPACT WV open new clinic to help families with infants diagnosed with neonatal abstinence syndrome  Monday, July 22, 2024 WVU Medicine Children's and the IMPACT WV program have partnered to open a new follow-up clinic for infants diagnosed with neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) and their families. A multi-disciplinary team offers assessments and guidance to participants.

                New OTD graduate joins Country Roads staff after creating peer mentor workbook for capstone project  Tuesday, July 9, 2024 New OTD graduate Taylor Grout made a workbook for Country Roads peer mentors as her capstone project. She herself was a former peer mentor, and will use her previous experiences to guide her as she joins the Country Roads staff this fall.
